What YUSU Provides for Student Groups:
Dedicated staff support and resources
Societies and media groups, volunteering projects, sports clubs, college sport and college committees all have their own full-time staff member to support them, alongside their relevant Sabbatical Officer, and other operational staff. Groups also have access to online training modules and resources, which are full of information and how-to guides for student group management.Financial accounts and support

Student Group Representation:
Sabbatical Officers (Sabbs) and Part Time Officers (PTOs)
Our Sabbatical Officers and Part-Time Officers are voted in by you in our annual YUSU Elections, to improve student life at York. You can find out more about our Sabbatical Officers and their manifestos on our YUSU page!
Representative Committees
Each type of student group (societies, media groups, sports clubs, volunteering projects, and college JCRCs/CSAs) has its own committee of elected representatives. They decide on new group applications and grant allocations, resolve conflicts, and raise issues experienced by their groups to YUSU and the University.
